2 DISMISSALS in 2 DAYS!
Neil Rockind is a rockstar on a roll! Yesterday, he accomplished an unbelievable dismissal in Warren regarding a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana in a case that lasted more than 13 months.
Today he pulled off another unbelievable DISMISSAL – this time a dismissal of a felony charge! Our client was charged in Clinton Township with possession of analogue drugs in a jail. According to the police report, she allegedly possessed nearly 50 Suboxone pills while in the jail, which is a medication used to treat opioid dependence. The catch was that she had a valid and up-to-date prescription for those pills. After several discussions with the prosecutor in charge of the case, reason prevailed, and the prosecutor decided to drop the charges and the case in its entirety. In addition, all alleged probation violations were also dropped.
Now this young lady can begin to move on with her life and we are extremely proud to be able to say that we helped her accomplish such a fantastic result.
